Once the visit to Puttaparthi was over. Suddenly, the emptiness creeped in for some reason.

Nothing in the outside world looked the same. The restaurant which I went to earlier, foods I liked, places I visited started looking so dim that interest towards all of it was reducing. Didn’t really feel drawn to all of it like before.

Now, my interests have started changing. I started visiting spiritual retreats. Indeed Baba sent me to all of it.

E2- First Visit to Puttaparthi

The day to visit Puttaparthi for the first time, finally came.

Whoever visits Puttaparthi is coming with Baba’s permission.
Without Baba’s approval, nobody can land here.

Went to the Yeshwantpur station at Bangalore and boarded the required train. While on the train, I was deeply immersed in Naam jaap with mala in hand. I was very delighted to see the mountain and monkeys. Shared a couple of biscuits with monkey friends which they happily accepted.

E1 - Connecting with Sai Baba

During Jan month, 2021 - after having left the high paying software engineering job, I was clueless about what’s going to be the next endeavour.

Slowly material things started fading away. Attended many online meditation classes, satsanghs, visited many retreats where strict noble silence (not even eye contact with fellow meditators) needs to be observed. Having lived in my own cocoon for 1 year and 8 months like this, mostly spent in meditation, contemplating and observing mouna with minimal food. Maintained the bare minimal talk to the point and didn’t hold the conversation more than 2/3 min mostly.
